Individual Counseling

    One-on-one counseling will enable us to:

  1. Explore your specific symptoms and pain levels

  2. Provide you with individualized strategies for decreasing your symptoms

  3. Confidentially address mental health issues which may be     resulting from your pain, such as anxiety or depression

Pain Management Education & Support

    Throughout the sessions, we will:

  1. Teach the use of specific skills, such as mindfulness and meditation

  2. Focus on the psychological aspects of living with chronic and acute pain, such as talking with your family and friends about your pain

  3. Discuss the origins of pain, including fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, neuropathic pain, and musculoskeletal pain

  4. Introduce gentle yoga poses and qigong postures to help reduce pain symptoms

  5. Implement a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatment plan

  6. Explore the concept of pain vs. suffering
